- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon orange juice concentrate
- 3 tablespoons orange zest
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Cream butter and half the sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well.
- Add orange juice and 1 tablespoon of the orange zest.
- Whisk together flour and baking powder and then add to the wet ingredients.
- Wrap dough in wax paper and put in fridge for 2-4 hours.
- Roll dough to about 1/4 inch.
- Cut with a cookie cutter and bake on an oil-sprayed or nonstick cookie sheet.
- Mix remaining sugar and orange zest and sprinkle on cookies.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes.
